The lads in Hot Pastrami! kick off the evening with the soulful and rockin' sounds of the iconic 60s go-go dance era — and surf-rockers Black Widows wrap up the night with a wild performance that must be seen to be believed! The Bad CompanionsStar of stage & screen, Al Subola (lead vocals, guitar) has previously sung and picked with rockabilly legends, the Vibro Champs, where he was the lead guitarist & primary songwriter. Bassist Bill Keefe is also a Vibro Champs vet and even had a brief stint with James Brown's drummer - Clyde Stubblefield. Hayden Grooms (drums) of the Hillions plays it straight and is always in the pocket. Dan Gaarder (vocals, guitar) of Roe Family Singers & Trailer Trash fame is a talented picker & singer and knows all the classic country songs that you don't! This stellar combo plays with flash and panache. Check ‘em out! Founded in 2015 by guitarist Corinne Caoette and bassist Pamela Laizure, Minneapolis-based surf-roxotica band Black Widows also includes Sarah Muellerleile on guitar and Kim Mancini on drums. Black Widows are known for their wily, surfy guitar tones, gritty bass grooves, and girl-group harmonies. Black Widows' latest EP release, Sounds of Tortuga Island, explores new territory with an all instrumental, surf-roxotica soundscape that takes you to another time and place. Hot Pastrami! Hot Pastrami! is a band made up of veteran Minnesota musicians Kevin Martinson (lead vocals and guitar), Rick Ness (drums), Todd Throne (keyboards), and Steve Olson (bass guitar). The band plays many "forgotten favorites" from the past and a few originals. They are influenced by the fun, soulful, and rockin' music of the 50s/60s Go-Go dance era.
