The Siskiyou Opportunity Center is looking for an individual to supervise and work with a crew of 3 cleaning the CHP Dunsmuir Grade Station, and two other small locations. Some physical work is required but it's mostly supervision. The work is not hard. It involves cleaning restrooms, meeting rooms, and other facilities. You would be transporting, (using our vehicle), and supervising some of our disabled workers who are very high functioning. The work is not hard or complicated. If you are not a cleaner, this may not be right for you. Working with, and supervising the disabled is an important part of the job. We are very much a team and family-oriented business. We believe in an environment where you don't dread coming to work. We try to have fun, buy lunches from time to time, celebrate birthdays and events, but still get the work done. Full time individuals receive 8 hours vacation a month, 4 hours sick pay a month, vision, dental, 401k, and life insurance. You will have to have a criminal background done, a drug test, and provide a DMV printout. Past mistakes does not rule out being hired. Depends on the infraction. Due to our insurance requirements, we cannot have anyone drive a company vehicle unless they are 21 years or older.
