Melanin Brunch has returned and we are ready for mimosas with friends! This summer, we are on a quest to find the best black owned brunch spot in the 757. Melanin Brunch is The Connect 757's Summer Networking and Brunch Series where we explore the 757 over the summer with a group of melanated individuals that love to brunch. If that is you, join the crew. We will be traveling across the region this year. Check out the schedule below. Last summer you trusted our brunch expertise and were surprised a week in advance of the chosen venue! That was a hit but this summer, we are letting you know the entire summer schedule in advance! Reserve your seat each month to join the intimate group of brunch lovers! Trust us, you'll have a great experience that is filled with plenty of laughs, good eats, and new favorites spots with other black professionals. Make sure you check the details for what is included in the registration. Feel free to dress in your favorite brunch outfit and be ready to enjoy the conversations, venues, and sunshine! For our THIRD Melanin Brunch stop, we are heading to Virginia Beach to enjoy brunch at Coastal Virginia's Top 25 Places to Eat, Happy Cafe. We're excited to dive into this brunch and enjoy the vibes at Happy Cafe. Each week a new special is highlighted and we will share that with attendees in advance. This brunch only includes your seat at the table. Each attendees is responsible for the cost of their food and drinks. Happy Cafe has breakfast, sandwiches, smoothies, vegan and vegetarian options in addition to a full bar to include mimosas and adult smoothies. You must be 21+ to enjoy alcoholic beverages.
