MALIK FRIEDMAN is truly one of the most profoundly talented and promising musicians that Bend has ever produced and in late August he leaves Bend for the bright lights of New York, the recipient of a full ivy league scholarship to Columbia University. His remarkable talents and sweet demeanor will be sorely missed by many Bendites, both in the music scene and throughout the community. On Saturday, August 20th, Parallel 44 Presents & The Commons Cafe in conjunction w/ sponsor Van Henion Brewing are proud to present MALIK FRIEDMAN GROUP final concert for the foreseeable future. To be as inclusive as possible, the concert will be free of charge and open to all ages. MFG will play 2 long sets starting at around 6pm and stretching well into the evening until 9pm(ish). We hope you'll join us in giving Malik the send-off he so richly deserves.
