Explore the edible plants and wildflowers of Marion County on our walking tour with Aubrey Streit Krug and David Van Tassel of the Salina Land Institute, and Marilyn Jones of Marion County. We will stop at Watchhorn Corner, Indian Guide, and Marilyn Jones homestead. Learn about the unique and beautiful plants of Marion County, enjoy samples of edible plants, listen to Aubrey Streit Krug's poetry, and enjoy music along the way. Some walking will be involved, so good walking shoes and a hat are suggested! This is a rain or shine event. Buses will load at the Historic Peabody City Park, W 2nd Street & Locust Street, Peabody, KS.
