Hopes, Commitments, Accountability: Living into the 8th UU PrincipleWe have adopted the 8th principle, shared our hopes for how this might manifest at Wildflower and began to make some commitments to action toward living the 8th principle. When we make promises, it is key to build in a mechanism to hold us accountable for keeping those commitments. In this service, we will zoom in to a segment of the principle itself: actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions. What does it mean to be accountable in our action to dismantle racism and other oppressions? Several Wildflowers will reflect on this question. Join us as we continue the sacred work of building a new way.Wildflower Church encourages people to get vaccinated. Masks and social distancing are required in the Sanctuary. We encourage anyone vulnerable or unvaccinated to consider their own safety and that of others in their interactions.
