Melanin Brunch has returned and we are ready for mimosas with friends! This summer, we are on a quest to find the best black owned brunch spot in the 757. Melanin Brunch is The Connect 757's Summer Networking and Brunch Series where we explore the 757 over the summer with a group of melanated individuals that love to brunch. If that is you, join the crew. We will be traveling across the region this year. Check out the schedule below. Last summer you trusted our brunch expertise and were surprised a week in advance of the chosen venue! That was a hit but this summer, we are letting you know the entire summer schedule in advance! Reserve your seat each month to join the intimate group of brunch lovers! Trust us, you'll have a great experience that is filled with plenty of laughs, good eats, and new favorites spots with other black professionals. For our LAST Melanin Brunch stop, we are heading to Soulivia's Art & Soul Restaurant in Chesapeake for their Live Jazz Soul Brunch. This Edinburg favorite highlights Elevating The Soul with A Modern Perspective of Low-Country Gullah Geechee Southern Favorites. This brunch only includes your seat at the table. Each attendees is responsible for the cost of their food and drinks.
