Dameon and Josh began separate journeys to learn more about America's History. As they learned more and shared that knowledge with others, those journeys ended up leading them to meet. They became friends and were intentional with their passion projects. They have sought to design and illustrate figures and moments from Our Shared History to help give voice and visuals to marginalized people and events that greatly affected their lives. The friendship has bloomed and their collaborations become more beautiful with each release. Armed with bite-sized history lessons, they are helping set the record straight on events rather than leave them swept under the rug. Their goal is to start conversations some of us don’t know how to have or even start.
