Festive tables are set, a roaring fire warms the parlor with its quirky, string-lit Christmas tree and there are matching pillowcases at the feet of the narrow twin beds of widow Adamaria’s excited young granddaughters. Rain falls as the four women of the house settle in for a cozy, uneventful holiday. What could go possibly wrong? Hear about the setting and research for Frances Rivetti’s new Fall 2022 novel, The House on Liberty Street, a domestic drama set in West Petaluma.
