Senator Steven Bradford is partnering with Cal State Dominguez Hills and Angels for Sight to bring you this year's Back to School Resource Fair and Backpack Giveaway for school-age students of the 35th Senate District and their families! Saturday, August 13, 2022 11 am to 3 pm Held at the CSUDH North Lawn with *free parking in Lot 2, entrance via Birchknoll Drive. Backpacks are first come, first served. One (1) backpack per registered student, while supplies last. Our Resource Fair will have exhibit booths to provide services like Health Screenings, Immunizations, Vaccinations, Housing/Rental Assistance, WIC enrollment, Haircuts and more! We will also have a program throughout the event to include dance classes, book readings, anti-bullying classes, and other activities for the whole family to enjoy! Your health and safety are our priority so please remember to wear your mask and social distance, and we'll see you there! If you're sick, we ask that you please stay home. All community members and residents of the 35th Senate District are welcome! Pre-registration for this event is not required but encouraged. Free Parking in Lot 2 (entrance off of Victorica St., turning into Birchknoll Drive): Venue circled below in blue, Parking circled in red Event Details : We will be offering both Moderna and Pfizer Vaccinations for ages 6 months and older for FREE. We will also be offering Rapid-Antigen COVID-19 testing for FREE WITH INSURANCE. Please be sure to bring your ID card and your proof of insurance. Note: Without insurance, there will be a charge for the Rapid-Antigen testing and must be paid in cash.
