Description

Join Lisa Shockley, Curator of Collections at the Kansas City Museum for a conversation centered around a motorcycle made by O.J. Plummer. Plummer was a world-class professional bicycle racer in the 1890s, who became a mechanic and turned his attention to motorcycles in the early 20th century. Curator Conversation is a free program offered at the Kansas City Museum on the last Sunday afternoon of the month. It is an informal conversation led by curator Lisa Shockley, beginning with historical background information offered about a particular artifact, followed by an invitation for attendees to ask questions or contribute their own personal insights or reflections. For more information, please contact Curator of Collections, Lisa Shockley at [email protected] or 816.702.7704.
