We are looking for full-time, year-round boat yard staff. • Place boats and motors on the trailers by operating a powered lift truck or gantry cranes • Load, tie down, and secure boats, motors and accessories. • Unload boats from and place in the yard by use of a power lift truck and/or gantry cranes • Operating boat yard equipment), hydraulic trailers, cranes, forklift trucks, etc. • Working as part of a team to safely and efficiently maneuver small to large boats during haul out and launch for storage and/or maintenance. • Winterizing and commissioning boats • Performing assigned duties that are appropriate for the employee's knowledge and skill set, such as fiberglass and gel coat repair, detailing, mechanical repair/servicing • Performing general labor (e.g., cleaning buildings, landscaping). • Ability to do maintenance on our trucks and lifts is a definite benefit. The ideal candidate has a good working knowledge of boat yard equipment and boat systems, enjoys working outside and as a team, able to stand for long periods of time, and able to lift heavy objects. No prior experience and/or knowledge required - the right candidate will be trained. However, gel coat and fiberglass experience would be a huge advantage. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
