We are a small but busy automotive repair shop in Sterling Heights seeking a porter/mechanic and mechanic. An interested candidate can also move into training to be an automotive technician. We are open 8 - 6 Monday through Friday, our ideal candidate would work every day and earn overtime as warranted. Job duties for the porter position include: picking up parts, picking up dealership account cars, keeping the shop area neat and clean, test driving cars, assisting with shop opening and closing duties. Job duties for the (permitted) automotive technician training position expand upon those listed above to supervised minor car repair such as oil changes and brakes, responsibilities will increase with skill.
