Summary: The Conco Companies is seeking full-time Formwork Design Engineer/ Technician for our Kent office. Minimum Qualifications: • AutoCAD 2-3 years, Revit 1-2 years. • Associates degree, plus certification from a drafting or architectural & engineering drawing program, or • Engineer in Training {EIT) certification with two years of structural design experience a plus, or • Professional Engineer with an emphasis in structural engineering. Concrete design and post-tensioned concrete design experience is also a plus. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Experience with AutoCAD is required. Experience with Revit is a plus. • General knowledge of the concrete industry is helpful, but not required. • Ability to work as a team. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Layout formwork systems using AutoCAD and Revit. • Layout formwork systems for walls, columns, pilasters and climbing formwork systems. • Layout shoring and reshoring systems for elevated slabs and beams. • Our design process requires that the design engineer I technician perform drafting duties and drawing review in AutoCAD. A firm working knowledge of AutoCAD is required. • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally through email and verbal interactions. Additional Experience: • Data extraction methods in AutoCAD using visibility states, custom tables, and attributed blocks. • Multileader style customization.
