Past Lives LLC is a makerspace and art collective. We are a community of artists, fabricators and entrepreneurs. We are dedicated to creating art, community, employment, and economic opportunity for all of us, especially the formerly incarcerated and otherwise marginalized. We recently outgrew our last space, and are now putting down roots in 24,000 square feet of remarkable space near the Ross Island Bridge. Our metal shop and woodshop are located downstairs, fine arts, textiles, glass working, and communal space upstairs. Monthly membership to the space ranges from $110 to $160 with work-trade options available. Light-flooded private studio spaces are also available, for $3.75 a square foot. (We have spaces ranging from 5x5 for $93 a month to 12x12 for $540 a month)
