Job Title: Nonferrous Labor Location: 15222 McKaskle Rd, Sugar Land, TX 77498 Job Description: Fort Bend Recycling is looking for a customer service-oriented individual with a positive demeanor to serve the public in a Nonferrous Laborer capacity. Job Duties: • Work at the direction of the Nonferrous Lead to perform and assist with inspecting inbound material, directing traffic, and keeping our clients and personnel safe as they transit the facility. • Receive, lift, and assist with separating and processing various nonferrous metals. • Regular scheduled availability of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday. • Receive training on equipment operation, including forklift. Qualifications: • 1+ Year(s) work in any outdoors-based position, e.g. construction. • Experience with metals is preferable, as is a customer service background. • Bilingual is highly preferable but not required. • Be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced purchasing environment in a warehouse. Benefits: After 30-days you will be eligible for our health insurance program, along with free $50,000 life insurance, and half-cost uniforms ($7.32 / week cost to employee). We are adding dental and vision in August. Pay Rate: $14.00+ / hour, negotiable and commensurate with experience.
