Job Description: ARMED DRIVER - Southern California & Northern California We are looking for a responsible Armed Driver to pick up cash payments from our dispensary clients all across Southern California. You must be comfortable picking up and handling large amounts of cash. You will represent our company in a professional and authoritative, yet friendly manner to increase positive relationships with our dispensary clients and ensure secure and safe pickups. Responsibilities Prepping your route with the distribution team and leaving from our office location in Desert Hot Springs Make cash pickups at multiple locations across Southern California and through different routes each time. Inspect and operate company delivery vehicles. Ensuring proper signatures are collected on the receipts and invoices upon completion of picking up the required cash. Asking for feedback on provided services and resolve any clients’ complaints or concerns. Timely completion of reports and system updates to record daily activity via company phone. Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Communicating with external Clients and Internal Staff / Accounts Receivable, distribution, and Accounting Departments. Handling large amounts of cash and safely transferring cash from vehicle to company safes according to company procedures. Driving once a month to Northern California is a must. Hours: · As early as 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM (10-Hour Shifts are Standard) - Hours may vary depending on the delivery route. · Monday through Friday Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour - depending on your experience Benefits: Qualified after 90 days Job Type: Full-time' Work Location: One location Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All visitors must wear a mask while on site. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Required Skills & Background Minimum 2 years of experience as a Security Guard Proven working experience either as an armed security guard or as a security guard with the ability to get your open carry permit. Must have an Armed Security License (Guard Card) Must have current BSIS Open Carry Permit (to carry a gun in the open) -OR- in the process of obtaining one. Must have a valid CA driver’s license & clean driving record (No points or at-fault accidents) Ability to safely operate a delivery van in a variety of weather and traffic conditions. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor when dealing with dispensary clients. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be comfortable handling large amounts of cash Must be able to operate on technology Excellent organizational and time management skills. High school degree required Candidates must be 21 years of age A Livescan Background Check will be required
