Maintenance Technician maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Assures that all buildings are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Provides necessary janitorial work as needed. Completes all event/meeting set-ups according to room requests form and facility scheduling reports. Performs any job-related tasks necessary for the smooth flow operations within the parish. Contributes to team effort for a professional environment Maintains and demonstrates a cooperative attitude and effective working relationship with all departments, church groups, employees, volunteers and parishioners. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include but not limited to the following: Ability to safely operate gas and/or electric powered equipment. Able to perform strenuous tasks and able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to lift, move and use ladders, lifts, scaffolds and other related equipment. Ability to set priorities and organize work effectively On-call availability for emergencies and occasional weekends. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in Janitorial maintenance and minor handy man jobs Basic Employment Requirements: Valid Driver’s License Must pass fingerprint and background checks
