Hi, this is Phoenix and he is looking for a new family. Are you looking for a running and hiking buddy? We're heartbroken to give him up, but due to my father's health issues, he is no longer able to take care of him. Phoenix is 4 1/2 years old and about 60 pounds. He's a husky, so he's the perfect dog for someone looking for an energetic companion. Phoenix has never met someone who wasn't his new best friend. If you want a guard dog, look elsewhere. He does need exercise and a consistent schedule - but would be great for an active person. Loves children and other dogs. Unsure about cats. Phoenix is intact. Keep that in mind if you have other dogs. Never aggressive, but he does get excited. He is currently with a foster family during this transition time. Please do not reach out if you cannot commit to taking care of him for the next 8 to 10 years. He's a sweet dog and deserves a great life. There will be a screening if you are interested.
