Our work is underpinned by the motivation to improve equity and inclusion in healthcare and research, by working with patients and communities to co-create solutions that lead to meaningful change. We are currently working on a new and exciting project with a major pharmaceutical company on a study for those with Chronic Kidney Disease, but specifically those with a specific genotype most commonly found in people with African ancestry including people in the African American, Black, Sub-Saharan African, Caribbean, and Latino communities. ***We are currently looking for participants for an online focus-group (1.5hours) *This is to review and co-create our patient and engagement materials, ensuring the needs and expectations of those with chronic kidney disease are met. *All participants will be reimbursed $90 for their time. We are extremely keen to ensure that the voices of those affected are at the centre of this work.
