Part Time Night Watchman - Weekends

Responsible to carry a scanning wand and scan buttons throughout the plant every hour as a fire and security watch of plant. Position does not require carrying a weapon. Watchmen should open gates in the morning and close gates at night or when needed. Turn lights off and on as needed in plant. Responsible for turning machines, fans, blowers, etc. off. Responsible to call - 911 (for emergencies) and managers if needed. Maintain a log of anyone entering the premises during non-operating hours as well as logging tasks and activities throughout the shift. Clean and keep in an orderly condition all factory working areas, employee areas and parking lots. Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping floors, removing chips, trash and other refuse, dusting the equipment, providing supplies and minor maintenance services, signing off on hot work permits, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, etc. Will be asked to perform a variety of jobs that require minimal amounts of training. **IMPORTANT - Selected applicant(s) must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and range of motion exam prior to job offer.
