Bass player looking to join/form a band with like-minded individuals. In my 40s, NOT looking to play covers at bars but original music, have kids and a job so this is a hobby but willing to see where it could go. Wanting to create heavier, dynamic, instrumental music at first. Vocals are fine but looking to focus on the music not just music supporting vocals. Bands I like to listen to and play are Russian Circles, Spotlights, Torche, Sleep, Intronaut, Pelican, 80s punk, etc. Open to different genres but looking for something heavier, fast/slow that is not the typical 4 chords.
