Artisans Marble & Granite (Murfreesboro)–In search of local Granite Installers $14-$23/hr + DOE Starting Pay, Join the Artisans team! A local family owned Natural stone fabrication & installation is in search of Granite Installers to join their team! Having been in business since 1998, Artisans has relationships with many of Tennessee’s respected Interior Designers, Home Builders, and General Contractors. This position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional overtime. Starting pay is $14-$18/hr + DOE This is a temp-to-hire position and we are really looking for long-term employees. If you come in and prove yourself, you will be eligible to stay on full-time! $50 hiring bonus available! Job Description : Removing existing countertops and install new countertops, set seams, top polish, make field repairs, mount sinks, install backsplash. Would also need experience fabricating stone. Granite Installer Requirements & Responsibilities : Reliable and hard working - Dependable attendance is a MUST! Willingness to learn and follow instructions Ability to work well in a team Must be able to provide references to verify prior experience • Effectively communicate with customer regarding installation matters • Will drive company truck (Valid Driver’s License & Clean MVR in the last 2 years) • Keep truck tool inventory. • Must keep installation truck and tools clean, organized and in good repair. • Responsible to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site. • Load A-frames with finished product. • Will use forklift at times • Assist unloading materials on site • Ability to lift heavy stone countertops, tools, etc. on a daily basis. • Includes hauling, placing, caulking, sealing, otherwise installing countertops. (Able to lift 50+ pounds required) • Use tile saws/hand saws to cut stone • Installing and sealing sinks also required. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (EOE/AA - Drug screen and background may be required.) • Be able to stand for long periods of time (will be polishing and assisting in shop as needed.)
