A Seattle Real Estate Company is seeking to fill a full-time Facilities position. This entry-level position will assist in managing the day to day operations and repairs for 10 Commercial Buildings and Offices. This position will perform small building repairs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Small building repairs such as light plumbing, light electrical, moving items and general clean-up.
-Interface with individual office staff personnel to solve facilities issues
-Schedule building maintenance
-Interact with tenants and vendors
-Approve invoices for payment
Qualifications:
-Knowledge of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, roofs, etc.
-Ability to listen and communicate effectively
-Reliable vehicle (car or truck) for driving to and from properties (mileage is reimbursed)
Required skills:
-Great communicator
-Ability to multitask
-Ability to take directions and action when instructed
-Effective and polite writing skills
A typical day is spent doing small repairs, and interfacing with other vendors giving them direction on jobs that need to be done. The company provides a cell phone for business use.
