Description
Unfortunately we need to find a new home for Bear, our 4 year old female Great Pyrenees. She is a big girl, weighing around 125 pounds. She is a very sweet dog most of the time but has some food aggression issues that we have not been able to overcome due to the small and special needs children in our home. She would do best in a home with adults or older children only. She has been raised with other cats and dogs, and as long as they are respectful of her personal space she has not had problems. She will not do well with very energetic breeds or puppies. She has been spayed, recently had her yearly check up and is up to date on all vaccines. She is also negative for heart worms. She recently also had a full groom. We care for her very much and want to see her go to a good home that can give her what she needs. She has not been used as a livestock guardian, but loves to be outside and could potentially be used as such, provided she still gets a good amount of attention from the people in her life. A small rehoming fee applies to ensure she goes to a home that is well equipped to take good care of her.
