Have you found somebody's ID and want to do the right thing. There are many right things you could do such as Posting an ad on the community section of craigslist. Maybe you have lots of free time and don't mind going to the address on the ID you can maybe find the person to give it back to them. There is one more way... You can drop the ID into a United States Postal Service mailbox, or hand it to your mail delivery person. They will send a notification to the address listed on the identification card which will notify the owner to come to the Post Office to retrieve their lost ID This also works for passports There are probably other ways to do what is right.
