About the Workshop Don’t put the recycling out yet! Building off our monster figure drawing workshop, in this class kids will make their very own monster mask using household items and specially selected materials sent in the Artuta Fun Pack. After demonstrating techniques that are tailored to each age group, Joan and Kosuke will guide students in the creation of their own monster mask! Time will be reserved at the end for sharing and to upload photos of the masks to the Artuta Online Art Gallery. Our student-centered teaching methodology fosters creativity, concentration, and problem-solving. Through the use of examples and by working along with instructors, students will naturally become familiar with lines, shapes, colors, materials and creative concepts. While students are welcome to follow along with the instructor, we encourage them to explore their own ideas, interests and personalities. Class sizes remain small, only admitting up to five students, in order to cultivate engagement and interactivity.
