Live on site maintenance mechanic knows how to make most all repairs to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, be able to get apartments ready when vacant. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for effectively maintaining our apartment community in Hamden Ct. Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll assist with daily work orders and preventative maintenance activities. Specifically, this will include carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical and other typical apartment repairs. Working in a safe and Maintenance Technician - Apartment Community This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance technician looking to take on a varied and diverse role with a successful, growing company. Must LIVE ON SITE efficient manner at all times, you’ll use protective equipment and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high quality. To be considered for this role, you must have: - At least three years’ experience as a maintenance technician specifically within an apartment community - The ability to perform repair work on the following: appliances, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry, and painting/sheetrock - Good diagnostic skills - Excellent customer service skills -Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-hire employee screening, drug screen and background check. -Candidate must have required tools to perform satisfactorily in the position. Dependable and professional, as a Maintenance Technician, you must be organized and able to handle multiple priorities and prioritize your workload.
