Hear the music at 37ent.bandcamp.com Drums/Piano/Bass Trio needs someone to play leads. Being able to read music is a huge plus -- Most of the parts are charted out and a quality reader/player would likely drop in easily. There is usually room for improvisation. There are a lot of odd time signatures, so you also need to be comfortable with that stuff. Synth or string players are also welcome to reply, and this is a thing where there could be multiple lead players, I just idealize the lead voice as a mix of tenor and baritone sax. A lot of the parts are very simple and just require notes to be held out very long. You have to be comfortable with this approach as a player, it's more of a texture thing than a flashy role. Pedal chains, nontraditional approaches, and multi-instrumentalists welcome.
