City on the Side: Sidecar Motorcycle Tours is seeking Male and Female Sidecarists (Chauffeurs) in Las Vegas, Nevada area. We are looking for Sidecarists (Chauffeur's), both male and female to transport passenger along four meticulously planned tour routes. We desire qualified applicants who possess three equally essential skillsets. 1- The ability to safely operate a 2020 Ural cT Sidecar Motorcycle. We would like applicants to have at least five years of motorcycle riding experience and preferably with some experience operating a sidecar motorcycle. If you have no experience riding a sidecar, the dynamics of riding on two wheels vs. three wheels is different but relatively easy to make the transition. 2- Have an excellent knowledge of the points of interest along the tour routes. The primary goal of a tour of a City on the Side sidecar motorcycle goes beyond the exhilaration of riding in this unique vehicle, we want to send our customers away with the feeling that they have gained much more knowledge about Las Vegas and the Valley than they would have on another type of tour or through their own research. Sidecarists must possess a wealth of experience of the points of interest, culture, and history of the highlights on the tour routes. The customer also wants insider recommendations for activities after the tour (restaurants, nightclubs, events, etc.) 3- The ability to communicate and interact with customers at a very personable level. Our Sidecarists must be charming, energetic, courteous, engaging, patient and can deliver our customers the experience of a lifetime. Sidecarists must be a good photographer with both cameras and Smartphones. Customers want to feel that we have gone out of our way to make this a great “once in a lifetime” experience. As a requirement from the Nevada Transportation Authority who governs all vehicle which transport goods or passengers, potential Sidecarist candidates must comply with the following NTA requirements. NTA Driver Application for Employment A prospective driver must complete and sign an application for employment that contains all the information required. Inquiry to State Agencies The driver's driving record for the preceding three years. This investigation must be made within 30 days of the date his/her employment begins. Annual Review of Driving Record At least once every 12 months, a motor carrier must review the driving record of each driver. A new copy of the driver’s driving record must be obtained from each state in which the driver held a driver’s license during the prior 12 months. A note stating the results of this review shall be included in the Driver's Qualification File. Annual Driver's Certification of Violations At least once every 12 months, a motor carrier must require each driver that it employs to prepare and furnish it with a list of all violations of motor vehicle traffic laws and ordinances during the previous 12 months. Driver's License, or Road Test and Certificate Each driver must provide a copy of his/her valid driver's license, or complete a road test and be issued a certificate, or provide a copy of his/her certificate of road test issued within the preceding three years. Medical Examinations The driver must pass a medical examination conducted by a DOT licensed health care professional (Paid for by the company). A driver must be issued a Medical Examiner's Certificate, which must be carried at all times and must be renewed, as required. Please Note: City on the Side operates with a stringent (zero-tolerance) drug and alcohol policy. Applicants must be willing to submit to random testing if management deems necessary. Also, company dress code must be adhered to. Operating hours and tours are based on customer demand, so applicant schedules must be somewhat flexible.. Compensation is based on a flat rate commission plan dependent on tour duration (starting at 23$/h) plus tips. This position could be the most gratifying and most exciting job you will ever have.
