Rats!

Description

I have lots of babies looking for new homes. Most are 6 weeks and 9 weeks (two different litters). I also have some of all ages as well, so if you are looking for one that is older and has already been hand tamed for a long time, feel free to ask for pictures of them, as the pictures listed are of the two youngest litters and there's actually more babies that arent shown as well. All my rats are handled daily, but some of the younger ones are still a bit jumpy or shy. All adults have great temperaments! Although most of the babies are quite tame and handleable too. Lots of colors right now, mostly black, gray, and white. I'm starting to get some browns but they aren't available as of now, but should be in the next 3-6 months, depending on how many I get when my first brown has her first litter. Some have two-color coat patterns (variegated where the head is colored and the rest is white with spotting down the back and some that are colored with white belly's, feet, and tail), but are usually black and white, a few gray and white. Also, I have some slivermane, marbled, and roan, which is where the color has certain shading patterns and I do have some of these shades on a few with patterns as well. I have standard and velveteen coat types, velveteen is curly or wavy hair that sometimes straightens out almost completely with some waves barely visible under the guard hairs or they stay somewhat curly, but never as curly as when they are babies. Velveteen fur is usually a thinner coat with finer hair strands and feels very soft on most. On some, usually males, the long guard hairs of the fur may become slightly course. I have slivermane on a few velveteen too. I have some Dumbos as well, but all come from at least one Dumbo parent so they do carry the gene, even if they don't show it. If you are looking for specific characteristics, but I don't have a rat available that has all the ones you want, I could try to produce one when possible (for example, brown is my newest color and I only have 3 total rats with this color so far, one is standard in every way, one is velveteen and is pictured, and one is standard coat and Dumbo eared, so it is possible for me to create a Brown, velveteen, Dumbo. I just haven't yet, since this color came up randomly in a litter 3months ago and I haven't had much time working with it so far). Also my rats so far have great health and I have not heard back from anyone about any cases of tumors and none of my retired breeders (I have lots of 1 yr olds, a few 2 yr olds, and even one 3 year old who is in surprisingly great condition for her age and is the great great great grandma to these babies!) have developed any kind of health problems or cancer so far, thankfully. No biters either! I've only been bitten twice and both times were mommas protecting their babies and was completely my fault. A Rehoming fee of $25 for babies up to 3months, $10 for any older than 3months is required (I don't sell any that are older than 9 months because I usually have become attached to them at that point and I wouldn't want to give anyone a middle aged / elderly rat. Must be able to pick up in Carson City, Close to Foodmaxx.
