Press release from the City of Northfield: December 30, 2020 The City of Northfield added a new skating oval at the rodeo grounds. The loop is 1,200 feet with a 25-foot wide lane and includes a warming house. Outdoor skating rinks and warming houses officially open Thursday, December 31. With sustained temperatures finally below freezing, public works crews have been busy flooding the rinks.
