Join Paul Fowler and Blue Lotus for a one day introduction to Thai Bodywork. This class, “Spirit and Technique of Thai Bodywork” is for all people new to Thai bodywork. Massage therapists and non-massage therapists alike are welcome to join! This class offers an opportunity for students to learn a simple and effective floor-based Thai massage sequence that can be modified for many body types and physical conditions. In addition, you will get an overview of the Thai medical theory that informs and supports the massage. Finally, students will be introduced to Buddhist concepts that provide the ethical and moral framework for this form of physical therapy grown from the specific historical, cultural and geographic conditions found in Thailand. Most of all, it will be a fun, joyful day of movement, connection and community! All are welcome, however, one must be comfortable kneeling and crawling on the floor. 8 Continuing Education Credits for Licensed Massage Therapists are offered
