Man Killed By Minneapolis PD Officially Identified

HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN— The man killed by Minneapolis Police Department officers Wednesday evening has officially been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner as Dolal Bayle Idd of Eden Prairie. Idd, 23, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner. The shootout with police occurred on Cedar Avenue South at the Holiday Gas Station parking lot in Minneapolis at 6:30 p.m. The "manner of death is homicide, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating," according to a statement from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
