Join Tracy for a fun day of training and outdoor play! This training will focus on how to incorporate nature activities in Play Therapy sessions to enhance client mindfulness and regulation. Special nature activities will include mindful walking, journaling, sketching, art and more. You will leave this training feeling refreshed after a day of outdoor play, as well as armed with Play Therapy activities to immediately utilize with clients! Participants will review current findings on children and outdoor play, which may affect Play Therapy treatment planning. 2. Participants will review benefts of outdoor play which can improve Play Therapy treatment planning. 3. Participants will directly engage in 5 Play Therapy activities involving outdoor play. 4. Participants will assess ways to incoporate outdoor Play Therapy in their treatment sessions. 5. Participants will develop an individualized Play Therapy outdoor plan to incorporate in their treatment sessions. 6. Participants will review possible limitations when incorporating outdoor Play Therapy sessions.
