Theresa Levy (vocals) Mike Levy (guitar, bass) Doug Martin (piano) Nossa Bossa Nova is the child of husband and wife team Mike and Theresa Levy, who have been performing Brazilian Bossa Nova for more than 15 years. Fluent in Portuguese and several other languages, Theresa brings an authenticity to the music and a pure voice that allows access even for those who who don’t speak the language. Multi-instrumentalist Mike Levy arranges and produces the band. They have released seven albums and have been featured on two Putumayo compilations. Elis Regina is known as Brazil's greatest performer, bringing Bossa Nova, Tropicália, and other Brazilian popular music to life with her sultry voice. Her collaboration with Antonio Carlos Jobim resulted in the legendary 1974 album "Elis & Tom," which has been heralded as one of the greatest Brazilian records of all time. Nossa Bossa Nova makes their Century Room debut by performing many of the songs Elis made famous.
