We are looking for a year-round live-in employee at the Rehoboth Guest House to start immediately. We are a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, gay-owned and operated, with 18 rooms and 16 bathrooms. We are located just one block from the beach in downtown Rehoboth. We are offering rent/utility free living and a salary in exchange for living in, and helping manage our property. It is required you are LGBTQ+ friendly, and you are accepting and kind to all different types of people. Your job duties would include things like cleaning and servicing guest rooms, checking guests in, guest relations, helping with breakfast duties, simple yard work and painting, laundry, and general housekeeping duties. This is a great job for someone looking to live at the beach or on their own for the 1st time. Someone interested in hospitality or a bed and breakfast type lifestyle. Or, even someone trying to get a fresh start in life. No experience is required as we will teach you everything you need to know. Only requirement is a good work ethic, be reliable, and have a good attitude. It also can be a pretty physical job like lifting suitcases, and a lot of stairs. Being capable of lifting, bending, and climbing stairs/ladders is important. We can be a really fun place to work and live and we are looking for a 3rd member of the guest house family. The starting position will be as a live-housekeeper part time to learn the business and how it functions. Advancement and full time opportunity are possibilities in the future for the right person.
