without going into to much detail because this is still ongoing as well as private My significant other was arrested in January for something he didn't do, his State appointed attorney doesn't do anything an attorney should do, he never sees him, he told him he has no chance to fight his case even though they have literally no evidence backing what was claimed to have happened, he asked him how much prison time he'd be ok with.....none he didn't do anything, we have people willing to testify on his behalf that he's innocent, as well as a bunch of other evidence that should show this is bogus. the DA for whatever reason is treating him like total crap, and trying to nail him to the wall, and his attorney is just allowing it, his last court date his attorney showed up late (and has missed two court dates completely before) and when it came to speaking on my boyfriend behalf made it seem as though it was a inconvenience to be there, didn't speak at all on his behalf as he should of, my boyfriend has asked him to ask the judge something and he flat out told him no. Has asked him to see his discoveries and was told no, won't try and plea deal with the DA. I did a Google search of this attorney and at first glance you think ok he's not bad. But if you keep looking over the last few years he's had several cases in which made news headlines, and when you read his closing arguments to juries, I can honestly with my whole heart say this man is the entire reason his clients got sentenced as they did (example: one serving 2 Life sentences another over 50 years) I don't know what to do but my boyfriend doesn't deserve to go to prison over something he didn't do at all. I'm scared, I'm lost, I don't have the money to hire a private attorney. I need help, advice something at all please. Thank you
