THE SPACE: Looking for a band/drummer (or both) to fill an evening sublet spot in my studio on a monthly rent basis for $210/month. I've had the 170 sqft space for 11 years now and it's great: soundproof, air conditioning, utilities included. Open 24/hrs, 7 days a week, free parking in building, 2 blocks to 7 train, very secure. Elevator and dollies for gear. I use it primarily for practicing drums and occasionally rehearsing in the mornings; my other sublettor uses it primarily for practicing drums. YOUR HOURS: Three evenings a week starting at 7 PM and ending the following morning at 8 AM (that's when I get in): Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Extra time usually available for booking as needed via texting other tenants and shared internet calendar. THE GEAR: I have a set of Gretsch USA Custom drums you're welcome to use, plus 4 additional snare drums, a bass amp, a guitar amp, vocal mics, and a PA with a 16-channel mixer. My other sublettor also has a set of Gretsch USA Custom drums in case you want to go two kits. No opportunity for you to bring in new gear except cymbals, a snare, and maybe something else on the smaller side. YOU: Reliable, timely, professional, and good at communication. You don't have to be a pro but you likely may be--the rest of us are, anyway. Just make sure you're the kind of person two professional musicians want to share all their gear with!
