I am currently looking for Generator Techs with a 3/4 ton truck and a fuel transfer tank (at least 50 gallon) for the current Hurricane Season.... This is 1099 work for Duke-Energy and several contracts with Cell Service Providers. Duties will include haul/connect/move/fuel for large kw generators, etc..You dont need to be an licensed expert, just good at what you do.The company you will contract for is a National Disaster Response company. The company you will 1099 with is Coastal Logic. Other duties may also include anything from moving bunkhouses, latrines, work trailers to running temporary plumbing and septic to trailers, placement and level set up, loading unloading trailers via forklift. It pays the same. The pay you hire on with is what you will be paid for all "hours worked". Housing will be provided, in several forms. "On site" housing as well as local hotel/motels will be provided. The on site housing is several ten man bunk trailers. Each having his/her own private room. These are fairly new and are quite comfortable. ( I stayed in one last year for 28 days) On most sites, Showers Trailers and restrooms are available. For long term stays Laundry services are provided. Each room  its own a/c, heat system. Techs with 3/4 truck $25hr to $35hr and per diem plus daily truck pay. All fuel cost incurred will be reimbursed by Coastal Logic  We put together "man camps" (females are encourage to apply under listed qualifications) out in the field. Email me if interest. Also feel free to direct any questions to my email. We will also be in need of general Labor. Labor pay starts at $15-18hr with per diem (must have reliable transportation and skilled). We pay $45 a day Per Diem. Usually paid every other day.(twice a week) Paid cash to you at one of the base camps. You can expect to be away from home for up to 30 days.
