Looking for Husky/Malamute Rescue, licensed vet who is willing to help (or provide affordable services) or someone who is willing to provide a caring, loving and forever home for our sweet dog, Snow. ***Please read description below carefully before contacting*** Snow is a beautiful, 3-year old loving husky/malamute mix who is an incredibly loving and sweet dog who has been part of our family for three beautiful years and was raised in our home from when she was just a puppy. She loves to go on long walks in the park, snuggle up against you and even knows how to shake hands. On June 22, 2022, our 3-year-old husky/malamute was diagnosed with cancer by our family vet. It was a complete shock and breaks our hearts to know that she is currently battling for her life as she is still so very young and should have a chance to live her life and grow old. Sadly, this shocking news has turned our lives upside down. Snow has already undergone one surgery to remove any tissues obstructing her left nasal cavity however unfortunately she is needing a second one. The vet also recommends radiation treatment in order to prolong her life and said without treatment, she will only have a few months to live at best. I am actively seeking second medical opinions/evaluations/all options available. I love her so much but am battling my own health issues and am struggling with the unexpected costs and expenses of her costly surgery/cancer treatment. A fundraiser to help raise money to get her the care and treatment that she desperately needs has been started. She is so very loving with the unconditional love and joy she brings to all those around her and deserves a second chance in life. It is very difficult to see her struggling to breathe each day as she tries to fight this terrible disease that is quickly spreading inside her and throughout her airway passages. At this point, we are praying for her and want to explore all possible options for our loving dog to prolong her life and will do whatever is ultimately best for Snow.
