I recently moved to Ashland and am looking for people to play music with - mainly jazz standards, but open to anything. I play upright and would love to connect with drums and piano and/or guitar. And any horns, but figured I’d start with the rhythm section. Personally, I get pretty fixated on the Bill Evans trio and aspire to one day play like Scott LaFaro or Eddie Gomez, although I have a very long ways to go. I had some friends in the Bay Area I’d play with every week or every other. We’d either get together at someone’s house, play in the park, etc. I’d be interested in something similar.
