2 Axolotls and Tank - $300

Description

Hello! I've got two axolotls that I am interested in finding a new home for. I just don't have the space for their tank anymore. One is a melanoid (I call him Toothless) who I've had about 3 years and who has stayed small. One is a leucistic (I call this one Alex, who is too young to determine sex on, but I usually call Alex a girl just to distinguish between the two) who I've had a little over a year. Toothless is a super hardy boy who rarely gets bothered by temperature or water fluctuations. Alex is a bit more sensitive and at the moment she is missing a few limbs. I suspect this is heat related with these crazy high temperatures we have been having, but it is possible Toothless is nipping at her. If you aren't familiar with axolotls, they are able to regenerate their bodies, so her limbs will grow back. They are both currently fed half a Canadian Nightcrawler 3 nights a week. They come with a 40 gallon tank which will come with a metal stand, light bar for water changes, power filter, sponge filter, and bubble stone, as well as a dual pump to power both the sponge filter and the bubble stone. The tank has black sand at the bottom as substrate which has been cleaned very thoroughly, so it does not discolor the water. I've also got some supplies that can go with them including food pellets, almond leaves, StressCoat water conditioner, Water Clarifier for cloudiness, extra filter cartridges, a siphon vacuum, a power vacuum, and a small plastic tank I use when I do total water changes. If you don't know about axolotls, please do your research first, they are not kept like tropical fish. They prefer water temperatures between 60-70°, like low water flow, prefer darkness, and cannot be kept with fish. I am asking for a fee due to the expense of the supplies that will be sent with them. I also have a 20 gallon long tank with sand which would need to be cleaned, but I would also be willing to include that if you wanted to separate the two. Must come pick up. You will need a larger vehicle. I cannot help with loading.
