Hey there, Looking for people to jam with/play out. Interested in several genres: Funk/soul/R&B Folk/bluegrass/newgrass Rock/indie/some classic Im 38/male if that matters to you. Ive been playing a long time and still trying to get better. Mostly interested in people who like to play in the pocket and put an emphasis on the feel of the song. Ive seen folk bands “groove” better than some “r&b” bands and vice versa. By that I mean the bands listen to eachother and play dynamically according to the needs of the song. That is what I hope to achieve by seeking others to play with. That and having fun playing music! I am currently playing with a few friends casually. We have an r&b funk sound mostly cause the drummer plays in the pocket so well. But when jamming we blend all kinds of genres. We used to play out quite a bit but now its sort of every once in a while. I am trying to mix it up and see who else is out there in the area. So if there is a band that is looking for guitar and this sounds interesting to you hit me up! By the same token if you are a singular musician and this sounds good to you hit me up as well.
