PORTLAND SUNDAY PARKWAYS August 21st Portland.gov/Sunday-Parkways ___________________________________________ Volunteer for Portland's largest cycling and walking event east of I-205. The route is a nice, 4.5 mile tour of neighborhood roads, connecting Gateway Discovery Park, Ventura Park, Lincoln Park and Parklane Park. Each park is filled with activities, food, vendors, entertainment and games. You can be of greatest help by volunteering as one of our route monitors. Adopt an Intersection - Stationed at an intersection, helping neighbors get to and from their home. Make the intersection yours! Bring friends. Bring chairs and a tent. Bring a grill and a cooler. Watch the event go by. And then help the occassional neighbor. (let us know this is your plan and we'll find you a GREAT spot) Volunteer by Bike - Spend your day volunteerings while riding your favorite bike.
