Our malti-mix of 12 years recently passed away - congestive heart failure. Heartbreaker for us. But we've gotten some distance from the loss and are now looking for another. small breed dog. We have a great setting for a pooch - fenced yard, great walking areas, excellent pet owners. We aren't really able to take on a puppy, so we'd want a dog that is mild mannered, house trained, and not a barker. Small breed, also.
