Blind Resident of Lakeview/Lincoln Park Seeks Dog Owner

I like dogs and seek an informal opportunity (e.g. meet at a dog park or other location) to spend time with your furry friend. I’m not trying to get into your business or seek to enter your residence; pets are prohibited in my condominium building, by the way. This is going to be public place oriented with no other agenda. I reside not far from Wrigley Field and simply want to spend a bit of time—whether somewhat regularly or intermittently—just petting and talking to your dog. For a variety of reasons, in case you’re curious, I never seriously considered a guide dog (service animal, if you prefer); I’ve traveled with a white cane since my youth and just got used to that. I have composed this message using a desktop computer equipped with software that reads text aloud. While working in a government office for thirty years (retired six months ago), I thought to myself that I wanted to do something like this when I had the time.
