Welcome to my First Annual Summer Speed and Power Clinic, located at Lincoln Way East High-School. I will be sharing my 20 years of experience in the Track and Field Industry with athletes of the Ages 8-18 yrs old, in the Chicago Area! Athletes participating will go through a variety of Sprint Mechanics and Accelerations that emphasize what the day-to-day collegiate/professional athlete routine can be. GUEST SPEAKERS: Devyn Thompson(Former Hampton University Student Athlete) and Briyahna DesRosiers(Former University of Oregon Student Athlete). Devyn Longstreet (29) is a former scholarship receipt for D1 Track and Field and Cross Country, attending Hampton University. Devyn was captain and All-MEAC for 4 years for both Track and Cross Country. Devyn began running at age 7 and met Aaliyah Brown on Illinois Elite Track Club where they spent their remaining amateur career together competing on National Stages (AAU and USA's) until separating for college. Devyn is currently a licensed Professional Counselor and is training for the upcoming Chicago Marathon in October. Briyahna DesRosiers is a former Texas A&M University athlete and University of Oregon graduate. Briyahna is a SEC Champion, 9xAll American in the 200, 400, 4x400, and 4x100 meter dash and 2019 USA Championship 400 meter finalist.
