Join us as we walk step-by-step to create a proposal that could be used for fundings such as grants and/or opportunities to gain resources. This workshop is interactive and you will complete various activities to help you create a proposal for funding. Training Objectives: At the conclusion of this workshop, attendees will be able to: Identify and summarize the key components of a grant proposal. Develop a statement of need for funding and/or resources. Create a plan to research and develop a grant proposal based on resource needs. Training Date and Time: Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 1:00pm-3:30pm Location: 405 East Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072 (ReNu Physical Therapy & Wellness) Cost: $89.00 per participant. Workshop materials and light snacks are included with the registration cost. Class Size: This is an interactive and intensive workshop. Class size is limited to a max of 8 attendees per session. Pre-Workshop Preparation: Optional: Attendees are encouraged to bring current information about a funding opportunity to work on during workshop activities, if applicable. About Workshop Facilitator: With over 15 years of program development and implementation experience, Shaunita has written and successfully managed grants on the federal, state, and local levels for government and education programs and initiatives totaling over $1 million in resource support. Shaunita has also served as a peer grant reviewer for the Office of Justice Programs.
