Recycler needed for local Packaging company

We are P3 distributing, a local family owned packaging company that services the Cannabis industry. We are also the only recycler of cannabis plastics in Oregon and we need help. Our recycling program processes more than 1500 lbs of plastic per month and sorts more than 2500 lbs of recyclables. The recycler is independently responsible for sorting, cleaning, and grinding the plastic, glass, and metal we receive. Daily you would be expected to arrive on time for your shift, keep up with daily production goals, and keep track of your output for monthly reports. This job does require wearing gloves and working in an environment with strong odor. Responsibilities: 1. Sort returns for plastic, paper, metal, and glass 2. Remove labels 3. Grind plastic using industrial grinder (training provided) 4. Hand/Machine wash and box reuse packaging 5. Manage recycling area(with help from other recycler and department manager) Requirements 1. Ability to consistently show up to work on time and work full shift 2. Ability to wash and pack glass and plastic containers 3. Ability to work often standing for entire shift processing plastic and other recyclables 4. Attention to detail to ensure reuse product is clean We are a small company that is growing. While you'll start sorting and peeling labels, we need a candidate who can work independently and practice good time management to keep all aspects of the program running smoothly. Hours are monday through Friday 7 am to 3 pm. The job starts at $15.00 per hour and after 90 days you qualify for full health/dental insurance, Paid time off, and our bonus program sharing company profits every quarter.
